Mafia Rush brings excitement in the form of gangsters and mobsters wars to your very own iPhone device. Imagine Don corleone, theMob boss itself setting out on a journey to rob, wreak havoc in the city, all in a massive display of bravery and courage, guns blazing and retribution – Wouldn’t you want to be a part of it?

Finally, a game that sets the pace for future dual stick shooting games. Mafia Rush features great graphics, 3D environment, enticing soundtrack and sound effects, cool story line , and challenging game play. Only one issue, Mafia Rush is hard, but we like hard, hard is challenging! Here is a quick Mafia Rush Guide and other tips to aid you in this one hell of a game:

There are 4 game modes in Mafia Rush game,  the first is robbery, in which you have to steal 3 bags of money from a bank located somewhere in the city and transfer them into your getaway truck with mob people on your tail. Another game mode is attack, where you have to find a C4 explosive device and attach it to a truck to destroy it while mobsters try to stop you. The next mode is survival, in which several attack waves are dispensed upon you, and all you have to do is survive by killing every single guy, rather than surviving until the timer ends like you would’ve expected. The last mode is defense, and is considered the hardest. Remember the begs of money that you rubbed earlier? Well now you have to defend them, for several minutes from hundreds of approaching enemies!

The quick way to make money like a real gangster is by re-completing robbery missions. When you complete these, you get a hefty bonus which will allow you to purchase all the ultimate weapons in Mafia rush, such as the Flamethrower, the Rockletlauncher and of course the Tommygun. Should you complete several missions on a row, you’ll have enough money to buy other goodies such as dynamite sticks, ammunition and grenades. Yippi!

To survive in defense mission you will have to deploy Sentry guns in the vicinity of the trunk, and land mines all around the truck and enemies routes to it. You will have to engage enemies that are approaching to the truck to disallow them to grab the money bags. In each defense level, according to difficulty you will have to defend for longer periods of time, and to maintain an elevating number of cash bags. The last two defense missions will be a real challenge, but remember – you are a mob boss, there’s nothing you can’t do!

The hard part of Mafia Rush is the game difficulty keep escalating when you finish more missions and upgrade your character further. New enemies emerge the deeper you go in the game, and those enemies have higher health bars, better weapons and faster movement, but that’s okay because so do we! The more experience you possess, the more unique abilities you can upgrade, such as walking  speed, health bar points and agility – more money and faster fire rate. All this is done in the Hideout – the mob men favorite weapon shop.

Controlling the Mafia boss isn’t easy at all. With your left hand you guide his movement in a 3D, 360 degree joystick-like-button and with your right you direct his shooting angle and press the fire button. The hard part is that you walking direction does not correlate with your fire angle, you have to synchronize them yourself, which takes some time and lots of practice. Try to understand that although both buttons looks identical they don’t control the same thing. That means you can move to the right but shoot to the left at the same time, unlike older smartphone games.
